Fees and other costs

I aim to be up front and clear about how much it will cost you to use my services. For most matters I will be able to provide you with a fixed fee quote before starting work. This fee will be based on my hourly rate of £250 and my expectation of the time I will spend on your matter (including all correspondence with you and any third parties, conducting the necessary checks, preparing any notarial certificate, meeting with you and finalising the document(s)). Where there is uncertainty as to the scope of the matter or it is particularly complex then I may provide you with an initial estimate and will keep you updated as things progress. In all cases, where additional items occurs during the course of the transaction, I will let you know the further cost and only proceed following your confirmation.

My minimum charge for any matter is £100. I do not charge VAT on my fees.

If we agree to meet at your home or office, I may make a charge for my travelling time but will not charge any mileage costs. If you would like me to arrange legalisation for you, I will make a charge of £75 to cover my time incurred in arranging this.

Your matter may incur some disbursements which I will charge to you. This might include postage or courier charges, legalisation agent fees, the FCDO apostille service fee, consular fees or translation costs. I will always inform you of the relevant costs and obtain your authority before incurring them.
